Whilst we
recommend AVAST! and provide it free of charge, we make no
claim that the software will remain free of charge in the
future.
If your current installation of AVAST! has now expired, it
will be asking you to re-register and obtain a new license
number. In which case, we ask our customers to follow the
instructions below to update their copy of AVAST!
HOW TO
UPDATE YOUR AVAST! SOFTWARE:

1. Locate
the "AVAST! Antivirus" icon on your Desktop.
After you've double clicked the icon, AVAST! loads up, you
will see the following window appear. You will need to click
the icon that says "Registration" - this icon
has a small gold key next to it as can be seen in the screen
shot below.
2. You
now need to either obtain your own AVAST! license key here
or continue using the key we have already obtained.
3. Enter
(or copy & paste) the following (or your own) license key
into the Registration box:

Click "Ok".
Your
AVAST! software now has an updated license key. The software
should automatically update when you are connected to the
internet.
