Back in 1996, Richard Kimberley, at the age of 16 formed the start of a computer support business which over a decade later has become possibly the most well known name locally to home and business computer users.
Originating from nothing more than a few leaflets through local letter boxes, offering personal computer tuition, it rapidly became apparent that this service was very much in demand and a small computer training business rapidly developed.
Richard's greatest satisfaction was gained by helping people who not only were novices with computers, but also were terrified of them. By providing simple, jargon free help to these people, ranging from eight to eighty years of age, they were able to transform their fears into pleasure by means of understanding aspects which initially were seen as very daunting, or even impossible.
The business was given the name "Computer Support" - a simple name describing exactly the service offered.

As the demand for additional computer related provisions became apparent, Computer Support provided services such as repairs, upgrades, troubleshooting, the supply of new and used computers, etc. By this time Computer Support had gone from being a part time hobby to a full-time business with a very large customer base and Richard was backed in both a financial and hands-on aspect by his parents, Geoff and Judy Kimberley.

In February 2003, this family owned and run business became a limited company at which point the name was altered slightly to become Computer Support & Internet Services Limited. This new name incorporated a description for additional services which were offered, such as web design, hosting, programming, etc.
